We have an exciting opportunity for a professional executive assistant to join our UK-based team. The role is to provide a pivotal support service to the International Director of our Trust. As a successful applicant, as part of the International Director’s (ID) team, where you would provide general administrative support to the ID and ensure effective and timely communication on his behalf and coordinating projects. You will also have the opportunity to become a member of a stimulating Christian community. Your key responsibilities would include:
- Building and maintaining effective relationships on the Director’s behalf both internally and with key contacts outside the Trust, including those who invite him to speak, broadcast etc.
- Providing administrative and communications support for the ID, acting as the first point of contact via email, telephone and in person, including financial administration and representing the ID where appropriate.
- Diary planning and management, together with coordinating internal and external invitations, all travel plans (international and domestic), venues and speaking itineraries for the International Director, as well as a responsibility for associated administration.
- Coordinate projects and events on behalf of the ID, as required.
To be successful in this role you will be someone who really enjoys administrative work, you will need to use your well-developed organisational skills and experience of dealing with conflicting and rapidly changing priorities and you must have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
You will also have proven experience working as a personal assistant (or similar role) preferably for someone at senior management level. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, be proficient in managing significant levels of written and verbal communication at a range of organisational levels and have excellent interpersonal skills. Experience of diary management (using outlook), coordinating meetings and organising logistics is highly desirable. You will be a team player with a flexible attitude, but will also have the ability to work autonomously too. Experience of carrying out research and project work would also carry distinct advantages. You will be expected to occasionally be willing to work outside normal office hours/weekends.
