Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional executive assistant to join our UK-based team. The role is to provide a pivotal executive support service to the Dean of The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA) and RZIM Apologist.  RZIM Zacharias Trust is UK registered Christian charity with a friendly, welcoming culture and a warm working atmosphere.  Our organisational vision and mission is to help the thinker believe and the believer to think.

As a successful applicant, you would be providing administrative support, bringing a high level of competency and professionalism to diary management, communication and other support.   You will also have the opportunity to become a member of a stimulating Christian community.  Your key responsibilities would include:

  • Day-to-day diary planning and management, together with coordinating all travel plans (international and domestic), venues and speaking itineraries for the Dean of the OCCA and RZIM Apologist, as well as a responsibility for associated administration.
  • Providing administrative and communications support for the Dean of the OCCA and RZIM Apologist, acting as the first point of contact via email, telephone and in person.
  • Carry out research support for articles, social media etc., as required.
  • Aiding the Dean of the OCCA and RZIM Apologist at speaking engagements, and RZIM/OCCA events.

To be successful in this role you will be someone who really enjoys administrative work, you will need to use your well-developed organisational skills and experience of dealing with conflicting and rapidly changing priorities and you must have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

You will also have proven experience working as a personal assistant (or similar role) preferably for someone at senior management level.  You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, be proficient in managing significant levels of written and verbal communication at a range of organisational levels and have excellent interpersonal skills including awareness of confidentiality and discretion.  Experience of diary management (using outlook), coordinating meetings and organising logistics is highly desirable.  You will be a team player with a flexible attitude, but will also have the ability to work autonomously too. Experience of carrying out research and social media within a work context would also be an advantage.
