Jo_Vitale_by_John_Cairns_18.8.15-1 Jo Vitale received a first class degree in Theology at the University of Oxford and was twice recipient of the University’s Gibbs Prize for her examination results. Jo then completed a University of Oxford Masters in Biblical Interpretation (M.St) before being awarded an Arts and Humanities Research Council Scholarship for doctoral studies.

She is currently using the award for doctoral studies at the University of Oxford on the topic of “Women and Beauty in the Old Testament”.

Jo speaks on a variety of topics, including biblical reliability and whether the Bible is sexist. She has recently been involved in leading missions to the universities of Leeds and York. Jo and her husband Vince worship at St Aldate’s Church in Oxford, where she serves on the leadership team for student ministry.
